Fine Detail

Magnification is a fascinating thing. Tiny, normally lost details become clear and breathtaking. And for a silly reason I'm always surprised...."Oh this was here all the time?"  The other evening Tom mentioned there was a perfect Clematis bloom deserving of a macro shot. "Okay" I replied and promptly forgot. But that evening I remembered and set up the camera and tripod on the front walk.

No longer to I worry about what the neighbors must think of Mrs. Bridges taking pictures of flowers again. At least I wasn't on my knees this time. But trying to timing the shutter between gusts of Oklahoma wind was a bit of a challenge. But so worth it!
